How much do you charge?

This is by far the most asked question, and the answer is:  it depends. There are many factors that play into the cost, such as decorations and difficulty, as well as where the cake will be delivered. But to give you a general idea, I charge about $1.00 per serving for most cakes, including birthday, anniversary and special occasions. Wedding cakes average about $2.00 per serving, due to the extra details and cleanliness a wedding cake usually requires. These are again only to give you a general impression, as simple and minimally decorated wedding cakes tend to fall into the $1.00 per serving price range, just as highly detailed birthday cakes would fall into the $2.00 per serving price. Fondant covered will also add $20 per 50 servings and adds an exceptionally clean look to the final piece.

So, how much do I charge? The average birthday cake goes for $40, which is enough to feed about 30 people. A decorated sheet cake, by comparison, usually goes for $40 as well, but will feed approximately 45 people. The average wedding cake goes for $200 and will feed about 100 people. However, one thing I suggest to people who need a lot of cake, but are on a tight budget, is to order a wedding cake size that is smaller than they need but large enough to impress, and add on sheet cakes to fulfill the rest. Add on sheet cakes for wedding cake orders are $25 for single layer and $45 for double layer, and will include the wedding colors chosen for the main cake.

What is your delivery area?

We are based in central Vancouver, and are close to both I-5 & I-205, Padden Parkway, as well as Highways 500, 503 & 14. The map below will give you an idea as to our Included Delivery Area, as well as our Expanded Delivery Area (for a fee of $1.00 per mile outside the Included Delivery Area.)
