Note to self: Be sure to get all details for a cake order when it is taken, especially when you know the recipient will be out of town until very late the night before it is due! Now, this could have been a disaster, but fortunately it was narrowly averted. I knew the colors were purple and gold, like winter pansies and violas, but that was it. We didn't discuss flavors for either the frosting or cake! So I made the executive decision to go with fudgy brownie cupcakes, and when I delivered them she was ecstatic!
