I had a blast making the Firetruck Cake for my cousin's 40th birthday. It was an inside joke between him and his dad. He must have liked it because right after blowing out his candles, he picked up the firetruck, put it on a plate, and took it out to his car so nobody else would eat it!

I made the writing to look like it was water coming out of the hose on the fire hydrant.

This angle shows the front of the firetruck, as well as the "flames" creeping up the sides of the cake.

The hose is still leaking!
